Mater has reinterpreted the Ocean table originally created in 1955 by renowned designers, Jrgen and Nanna Ditzel. Collaborating with Dennie Ditzel, their daughter, Mater has created a new, sustainable iteration made of recycled fishing nets and hard plastic.

The original Ocean Chair consisted of a number ofwooden slats supported by a steel frame. The design has remained largely the same, although now features plastic slats and is slightly larger to accommodate modern proportions.
